SOUND HEALING

BE ENERGETICALLY LIFTED TO A PLACE OF RELAXATION, RESTORATION & WELL BEING

SoundBath

A SoundBath is a restorative healing modality of deep yet alert relaxation accompanied by the playing of crystal singing bowls. Participants typically lie in a comfortable position on the floor supported by yoga mats, pillows, and blankets. I play a set of quartz crystal singing bowls, chimes, rattles and other instruments to create a musical and vibrational narrative over the period of an hour or more. SoundBaths are offered in small group settings. Clients report that Sound Healing sessions can be especially helpful in the support of stress relief, sleep rejuvenation, grief processing, anxiety issues and trauma processing.

I am a Certified Crystal Singing Bowl Practitioner.

Crystal Singing Bowls

Quartz crystal singing bowls have a strong, clear resonance, which can be a powerful tool to support personal wellness, mindfulness practices, and integrative healing. Crystal bowls have been used in a number of healing modalities since the late 1970's. Pure silicon quartz crystal bowls have been utilized to grow pure chips for computers. If the manufactured bowls were not precise enough, they were often thrown out until someone realized that, like ancient Tibetan brass or bronze bowls, the crystal bowls could be used as sound healing tools.

Sound healing recipients report that by simply listening to the pure, vibrant tones of a bowl being played they are deeply relaxed and rejuvenated. The experience often produces deep emotional states of restoration and well-being. Chakra energy balancing, stress reduction, improved sleep depth and quality, a deeper sense of connection to self and journey states are also often reported by sound healing recipients.

My Sound Healing Journey

“I was drawn to the idea of Sound Healing as a therapeutic modality to support my own life journey. I was coming out of a significant seasonal depression, working to heal some grief and learning about mindfulness. My Life Coach began using tuning forks and several singing bowls to open and close our sessions. I found the practice very calming and nurturing, so much so that I wanted more!

Attending my first SoundBath was a deeply moving experience. I felt magically transported to a place of well-being and restoration. I remember feeling like I was getting some magical sort of internal massage. Later I learned that vibrational healing can be a powerful tool with impact on a cellular level. Our bodies are about 60% water, so it makes sense that vibrational modalities really can impact us on a cellular level. Additionally, my diverse appreciation of music peaked my interest to learn to play the bowls in a therapeutic way.”
